How to install the VisaFlo Chrome extensions and choose the right one

Overview

VisaFlo uses Chrome extensions for some online portal autofill workflows. Install the correct extension before running autofill.

Before installing

• Use Google Chrome.
• Update Chrome to the latest version.
• Use a stable internet connection.
• Disable other autofill extensions if they interfere.
• Keep the portal tab in the foreground while autofill runs.

Install the extension

1. Download the extension file from the VisaFlo extension guide or settings page.
2. Unzip the downloaded file.
3. Open Chrome.
4. Go to chrome://extensions.
5. Turn on Developer mode.
6. Click Load unpacked.
7. Select the unzipped extension folder.
8. Confirm the extension appears in Chrome.

Which extension should I use?

Client conversations indicate there may be separate extensions for older Express Entry workflows and newer Representative PR Portal / PR Card / Citizenship workflows. Use the extension guide in your workspace and confirm with support if you are unsure.

Common installation problems

I click the zip file and it only opens folders

You need to unzip the file first, then load the unzipped folder through chrome://extensions.

The extension disappeared

Return to chrome://extensions and check whether it is disabled. If needed, remove it and load the latest unzipped version again.

The extension cannot find my case

Check that the case type supports that portal and that you are logged into the correct VisaFlo workspace. Also confirm you are using the correct extension for the portal.

Reporting extension problems

Send support:

• Extension version.
• Chrome version.
• Portal name.
• Case ID.
• Screenshot or screen recording.
• The exact step where it failed.
